Foundation's Objectives

 

Our principal objective is to develop the Clinic of Palliative Care and Pain Control of the National Children’s Hospital. Nevertheless, in agreement with the base statutes that we have established, our work goes beyond, and we have as additional objectives:

  1. To develop better conditions for attending to children and adolescents with limited living capacities or those in the terminal phase, especially those that are home-bound, and to better attend to their families.
  2. To develop training programs on both the national and international level in order to make known the advances in Palliative Care and to continue valuable learning that would benefit the patients and their families.
  3. To integrate a board with people attune to the objectives of the Foundation that brings about an increase in the Foundation’s economic assets, to be used for economic donations, equipment, special events, and in general all that expresses the social good.
  4. To utilize assets in order to improve the services of the Foundation and to fund projects.
  5. To motivate all types of activities which bring parents and children together.
